These gorgeous Venetian Murano white glass wedding cake beads measure 14mm (1.4cm or over 1/2") In the classic tradition of 17th and 18th century Venice when it was world renowned for it's extravagance. 24k gold foil has been applied over an opaque white glass base, then ribbons of white, green and pink glass have been added before pink rosebuds have been hand painted in molten glass. Please note that the pattern and placement of the exterior decoration is different to the front and back and to each bead, this includes the size, clarity and depth of colour of the rosebuds. Both sides have been photographed. * Please note that exterior 24k gold foil may be subject to a little wear over time and/or contact with other jewelry.
