Polar OwnCode (5kHz) Coded Transmission
The Polar FT1 Heart Rate Monitor automatically locks in a code to transmit your heart rate to the training computer. The computer selects your heart rate from the code your transmitter sends. This prevents interference that may result from other training computers.
Visual and Audible Alarm for HR Based Target Zones
The Polar FT1 Heart Rate Monitor lets you set your target zones based on heart rate for the right intensity. When you cross the set zones, the computer notifies you via a visual and audible alarm.
Heart Rate

The Polar FT1 Heart Rate Monitor expresses heart rate as the number of bpm or as the percentage of your maximum heart rate. It can also be shown as a percentage of your heart rate reserve.
