About this product

Voxazoldin tablets and injections are used to treat some infections that affect different parts of the body. It is a fast-acting and powerful antibiotic, as it contains an active substance that quickly kills bacteria and viruses that cause pain in a different area of the body, especially the respiratory system, and the weakness of the immune system that leads to Some skin problems.

Dosage and method of use:

•  The usual dose for adults, whether from tablets or intravenous solution, is 300 ml (600 mg linezolid) twice daily, and the solution is administered directly into the bloodstream via a drip over a period of 30 to 120 minutes.
•  The patient can be given the intravenous solution initially, then the treatment can be completed in the form of tablets or liquid suspension orally containing the same active substance.
• Patients on dialysis are given the drug after the dialysis session, provided that the treatment continues for a period ranging from 10 to 28 days, or according to the doctor’s instructions.
•  This medicine is not to be used to treat children.
•  The use of the drug with food requires some caution, as the active substance interacts with the “tyramine” substance that is naturally present in some foods that causes high blood pressure, such as: aged cheese, yeast extracts, soy sauce, alcohol.
•  Tell your doctor if you get headaches after eating while you are being treated with Voxazoldin .
•  If an overdose is taken, consult a doctor immediately.
