The Ubiquity Networks UniFi 720p Indoor Dome Video Camera with IR LEDs features a 1/4‎"‎ CMOS sensor‎,‎ and is powered by 24VDC PoE ‎(‎Power over Ethernet‎)‎‎;‎ you can mount the camera anywhere you can run an Ethernet cable without worrying about running AC power to the camera‎.‎ The camera features a 3.6mm f/1.8 lens that covers a wide viewing area‎.‎ Built‎-in IR LEDs‎,‎ and an IR cut filter that minimizes IR pollution of the image during daylight recording and then moves out of the image path during IR recording‎,‎ provide clear sharp images during both day and night time recording‎.‎

The camera mounts to a ceiling‎,‎ and includes a ceiling mounting kit for drop‎-ceiling tiles‎.‎ The camera features a built‎-in microphone for recording audio‎,‎ and the camera records locally to an available microSD card ‎(‎not included‎)‎‎.‎
