Inhalation powder 60 doses. * 1 dose (1 inhalation) contains: 320 mcg budesonide, 9 mcg formoterol fumarate dihydrate and approx. 491 mcg lactose monohydrate. * Therapeutic Indications: & & # Asthma: & & – Regular treatment of asthma where use of a combination (inhaled corticosteroid and long acting beta2-agonist) is appropriate. & & – patients not adequately controlled with inhaled corticosteroids and “as needed” inhaled short-acting beta2-agonists or & & – patients already adequately controlled on both inhaled corticosteroids and long-acting beta2-agonists. & & # COPD: Symptomatic treatment of patients with severe COPD (FEV1< 50% predicted normal) and a history of exacerbations, & & who have significant symptoms despite regular therapy with long-acting bronchodilators. * Recommended doses: & & # Asthma: & & – Adults (18 years and older): 1 inhalation twice daily.
