Whether due to an unhealthy lifestyle, stress, lack of sleep or genes, eye bags and dark circles under the eyes always make one look unhealthy and tired. Striagen®-DS EYES key ingredients: High Molecular Weight Plant Proteins

Properties: Fights slackening of skin and decreases skin roughness (results confirmed in-vivo and in-vitro).

High-resolution image analyses demonstrated that within 1 hour of applying gel containing high molecular weight plant proteins there is a 9% decrease in skin roughness as compared to placebo (gel with no actives) which provided a 1% improvement. In addition, twistometric measurements show a 3.4% decrease in extensibility as compared to placebo. This extensibility decrease results from a formation of a protein film on the surface of the skin and therefore the skin is more rigid and less deformable. The skin becomes firm and more regular.

Cecropia Obtusa bark extract:

Properties: This extract stimulates lipolysis and therefore reduces under-eye bags.

In a clinical study, a 13% reduction of eye bags was observed after 28 days of treatment. A 23% reduction was observed after 56 days of treatment.

Botanical Complex:

Properties: Improves microcirculation and capillary fragility, helps control dark circles.

The complex includes the following extracts: Ruscus Aculeatus Root Extract, Centella Asiatica Extract (and) Panthenol, Calendula Officinalis Flower Extract, Hydrolyzed Yeast Protein, Aesculus Hippocastanum (Horse chestnut) Extract. In an efficacy study, dark circles are reduced by 64%.

Ruscus Aculeatus Root Extract: Its therapeutic properties are used to increase circulation, reduce edema, reduce swelling and to act as an anti-inflammatory – all very useful when fighting eye bags. This herb is mostly used for disorders of the venous system (veins and arteries) of the body, especially for fragility of the veins and for improving circulation. This has been proven in clinical investigations. Centella Asiatica Extract: The main active ingredients contained in Centella asiatica are triterpenes asiatic acid and madecassic acid, together with triterpenoid ester glycosides - known as asiaticoside and brahminoside. It has a positive effect on nearly any type of skin and skin condition.

Panthenol: Panthenol is a non-irriating form of Vitamin B that is usually derived from plants. When this natural, hydrating vitamin is applied externally, it penetrates into lower skin layers, gets absorbed into your skin cells and turns into pantothenic acid (commonly known as Vitamin B5). Because panthenol is absorbed deeply into the skin, it adds essential moisture and has a desirable plumping effect. Calendula Officinalis Flower Extract: Boosts the antioxidant protection of the skin.

Hydrolyzed Yeast Protein: Reduces sebum flow and normalises sebum production. Revitalises with moisture and fights dryness.

Aesculus Hippocastanum (Horse chestnut) Extract: Helps reduce puffiness.
