Librax is used to treat irritable bowel syndrome and relieve colon symptoms. The medicine relaxes the stomach muscles. The medicine also relieves acidity in the stomach, which leads to the treatment of the colon and its symptoms. Librax basically consists of two substances, the first being Librium, which works to relieve Stress and psychological anxiety, which is the main cause of IBS fatigue, and the second substance is clidinium, which works to relieve abdominal pain caused by the colon.

Dosage and method of use:

• The usual dose: 3 to 4 tablets per day, depending on the severity of the condition.
• The dose for the elderly and debilitated patients: ranges from 1 to 2 tablets per day, and it is possible to gradually increase the dose to the most effective or most tolerable level.
• Dosage in the case of treatment of menstrual pain: the dose before the start of the menstrual cycle for a period ranging between 3 to 4 days.
• How to use the medicine: Take Librax tablets with a little water or any other liquid before eating and before bed.

Indications:

• The drug is used to treat stomach and duodenal ulcers.
• The drug is used in the treatment of spastic irritable bowel, and it also helps in the treatment of colitis and diarrhea.
• The drug is used in the treatment of hypersecretion and motility of the gastrointestinal tract, nervous dyspepsia, and dysmotility of the gallbladder.
• The drug is used to treat cases of ureter contraction, dyskinesia, neurogenic bladder, nocturnal enuresis, and dysmenorrhea.
