This is a simple to use PIR "Passive Infrared" motion sensor with Grove compatible interface. when anyone moves in it's detecting range, the sensor outputs HIGH on its SIG pin.
The detecting range and response time can be adjusted by 2 potentiometers soldered on its circuit board, The response speed is from 0.3s - 25s, and max 7 meters of detecting range.
How to Use PIR Sensor
Ground: connected to ground
Vcc: 3-5 VDC
NC: not connected
SIG: High (when motion detected)
Low (no motion detected)
The output pin will go "high" to 3.3V and light up the LED when motion detected. When low, no motion detected
Specifications:
- Adjustable detecting distance and holding time
- Grove compatible interface
- Voltage range: 3V–5V
- Detecting Angle: 120 degree
- Detecting Distance: max 7m
Application Ideas For PIR Sensor
- Motion sensor
- Thief-guarding System
- Switch
- Industrial automation
Note: The first time you use this module, you should adjust the two potentiometer which are used to adjust the detecting distance and the holding time.
