About this product

Omez reduces the amount of acid produced in your stomach and is used to treat acid-related conditions in the stomach and intestines such as heartburn, acid reflux, peptic ulcer disease and some other stomach conditions associated with excessive acid production.

Dosage and method of use:

• The dose that is determined for the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease and acidity is from 20 to 40 mg per day for a period of 4 to 6 weeks, in addition to taking a preventive dose of 20 mg per day also in the case of GERD.
• In the case of treating a patient with increased gastric secretions, the patient takes 6 mg divided into three doses per day, half an hour before eating. We advise you to continue taking the medication as prescribed even if symptoms disappear quickly with eating small meals and avoiding caffeinated drinks (such as tea and coffee), spicy or fatty foods, to increase the effectiveness of the treatment.
