Product Description:

• The treatment works to prevent the formation of epileptic seizures or convulsions in the brain by inhibiting certain processes that help in the formation of epileptic seizures, and helps to control them.
• The treatment does not cure epilepsy, but it helps control seizures in terms of reducing their recurrence, so it is not permissible to stop taking the treatment without consulting the doctor once the patient’s condition improves, as seizures may reappear after stopping treatment

Dosage and method of use:

• The dosage of the drug varies from person to person according to the condition of each patient, so we must follow the doctor’s instructions
•  Usual Adult Dose: One 1000 mg tablet twice daily, preferably in the morning and evening
•  The usual dose for children between 4-12 years: a dose of 20 mg per day, divided into two times
• Increase the dose every two weeks to reach a maximum dose of 60 mg, according to the child's weight
• The effectiveness of the drug begins 1-2 hours after taking the drug and lasts up to 8 hours
•  If you forget to take a dose at the usual time, it can be taken as soon as you remember, and if it is time for the next dose you can wait until the next usual time
•  Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed dose, so as not to cause you harm

Indications:

• The treatment is used to treat some cases of epilepsy, including:
• myoclonic seizures
• Partial seizures
• Generalized tonic-clonic seizures
