The smartwatches seem to keep coming from China as we now see the DZ09 listed on Gearbest for just $39,43. It’s a ‘watch phone’ which means you can insert a sim card into the little device and make and receive calls with it. There is also space for a micro-SD card to give it some extra storage. The display is a 1.56” inch display with a 240×240 resolution. The watch supports 2G GSM frequencies and comes with Bluetooth 3.0 which isn’t as energy efficient as Bluetooth 4.0 would have been. On the other hand, you don’t have to connect this watch to your smartphone because it practically is one. The watch also comes with 128MB RAM memory and 64MB internal storage, a 533MHz Mediatek MT6260A processor and a 0.3 megapixel camera. Don’t expect too much from a camera like that, because it’s usually not very good at shooting good pictures. But it is a nice spy cam for that matter. The watch comes with a lot of features that we have seen more in the past few watches that have come by. It can play music, count steps, alert you when you are sedentary for too long and it can even monitor your sleep. And with the 380mAh battery the company says that you should be able to keep the device in standby for at least 180 hours. To be honest? That sounds a bit much for a watch like this, and it wouldn’t be the first time that listed standby hours aren’t met in real life.
