Gigabit Switch D-Link 8-port is part of a new series of devices for networking SOHO. Through Green technology reduces device costs for energy and reduces power without sacrificing performance and functional characteristics. Using the power adapter that conforms to EnergyStar Level V and RoHS directive restricting the use of hazardous substances, as well as the reuse of packaging protects the environment.
Saving electricity
8-Port Gigabit Switch DGS-1008D / RU provides automatic saving of electricity in different ways. With the automatic power off when there is no connection port is saved a significant amount of energy on the inactive port or ports that are connected to the computer shuts down. The switch is able to analyze the length of any cable connected to the power consumption settings, thereby saving electricity without affecting the performance.
Protecting the environment
8-Port Gigabit Switch is designed with the environment in mind, in accordance with the standard EnergyStar Level V and regulations CEC and MEPS, requires the use of power adapters that reduce energy consumption.
