Celebrex capsules is an analgesic and anti-inflammatory medicine. The drug contains the active ingredient celecoxib, which belongs to a group of treatments called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, which work by inhibiting the action of an enzyme (called cyclooxygenase) which is responsible for manufacturing substances in the body that cause inflammation and pain. Treatment is different from other (non-selective) treatments with no negative effect on the stomach. Therefore, Celebrex capsules are used in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis.

Dosage and method of use:

• The usual dose for adults is: 100-200 mg per day divided into two times (every 12 hours) after eating. It is possible to reach the dose to 400 mg per day in some cases. It is also necessary to consult the attending physician before taking the drug to know the appropriate doses according to the patient’s condition.
