Velbon QHD-51Q Ball HeadVelbon's compact, lightweight QHD-51Q ball head works with Velbon monopods and tripods. It lets you pan and tilt your digital camera or camcorder to almost any position, and then lock it securely in place with the one-touch locking system. You can also thread the quick release plate into the tripod socket of your camera and leave it in place. That way, you can quickly attach and detach your camera from the tripod, saving you those crucial few seconds when you're trying to capture a fleeting shot.

Quick Release Plate: The included QB-3 quick release plate attaches onto your camera using the standard 1/4" tripod thread. The quick release plate locks into place automatically when you place the plate onto the head. You can easily remove your camera by unlocking it with a single flip of the spring-loaded lever.
