High-resolution 4K

Oversampling (about 2.4 x [6K equivalent] as much image data condensed to 4K) achieves the high quality in 4K movie resolution and realism.

The Fast Hybrid AF system featuring phase-detection AF (superior speed and tracking performance) and contrast-detection AF (high accuracy) satisfies the need for very precise focus even in 4K movie shooting.

Up to 5x Slow Motion and up to 60x Quick Motion can be recorded in camera at up to 50Mbps in Full HD, then played back without post-production processing.

S-Gamut / S-Log shooting

S-Gamut/S-Log enable wide dynamic range (max. 1300%) shooting for more expressive moviemaking in post-production. The α6500 even offers 14-stop latitude at S-Log setting.
