This S Pen stylus is designed specifically for use with the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. The stylus is one of the main selling points of the Note 3 and Samsung has once again improved the performance and functions of the S Pen for its latest iteration of the Note.

While the Note 3 does come with a stylus, it can be worthwhile to have a spare available should you lose or break the original. This replacement stylus offers the same functionality as the S Pen included with the handset.

While the Note 3 does of course inherit the S Pen functionality that users have come to love of its predecessors (image annotation, digital drawing, handwriting recogniton to name but a few) Samsung has included some brand new S Pen features with the Galaxy Note 3. These are discussed in more detail here on our product page, but here's a quick run through of the new Air Command menu, which is triggered when you click the S Pen:

Action Memo - Handwritten notes can be used to execute a command on the handset or can be converted to digital text.

Scrapbook - Organise and research subjects using various sources (the internet, YouTube, Gallery, etc.) and store it in one convenient place for future reference. When you save content, Scrapbook will make a note of its originating source, e.g URLs for web content, so that you can easily track back to it later date.

Screen Write - Capture a full screen shot and then use the S Pen to annotate it with notes or to draw moustaches on faces.

S Finder - Brings up a search function with advanced filters. Find content based on keyword(s), date, location, type and also search for other related content.

Pen Window - Draw a box of any size on the screen and then open a compatible application within it. The box can be drawn anywhere on the 5.7" full HD display without stopping the current activity.
