Callaway claim the Tour i golf ball is the softest and longest ball they have made to date and PGA in playing test, distance was not an issue.

The Tour i ball has a modified Hex dimple pattern and this maintains it's advantage in the wind, where the flight is very stable.

On and around the green the ball does feel soft to firm and certainly a little softer than the Tour ix ball.
