It can be attached to anything; wood (up to 1-3/4" thick), logs, pipes, big timber, ladders, equipment etc. The LEDs, steady burn or flashing, are red and yellow; a switch in the battery compartment is used to switch between the two colors. Red is used for rear projecting loads and when the lights are facing traffic for front projections or wide loads you must use yellow. Forward facing red lights are reserved for emergency vehicles; police, ambulance etc. The LEDs are rated for 100,000 hours and are very low in power consumption. A pair of AA batteries will last for 200 hours on flashing mode. The LEDs are ultra-bright and can be seen up to 2000 ft. The convex shaped lens allows a 180 degree visibility. It has a cool anti-theft feature that allows you to screw it to material great for when you're stopping for lunch and you don't want someone to walk away with it. Screwing it to a load is also great for long distance hauling. You can even screw it to a board and then attach the board to anything you want i.e. odd shaped things or equipment.
