The Voyager Extreme Performance (XP) 1470g is a versatile handheld 2D scanner that features a 1-megapixel imager and an 800mhz processor for superior scanning performance. The Voyager XP 1470g is an affordable device with "best-in-class" scanning capabilities for reading purchased items, mobile screens and even damaged and hard-to-read barcodes. Honeywell offers the all-around improved Voyager XP 1470g for the same price as the current 1450g, it much faster than the Voyager 1450g with a more accurate aimer, longer "depth of field", extended Bluetooth range and improved motion tolerance.

The Voyager XP 1470g is built on the rugged platform of the world-renowned Voyager 39 Series handheld scanners and is fully backwards compatible with existing Voyager 1450g accessories.
